My profile, my equipment, and my soul....
My name is Stanislaw (Stan) Augustyn. Originally born in Poland, I mostly grew up in Chicago (the other Poland). Fell in love with tennis in High School, married ever since. Started stringing racquets and teaching tennis in college (20 years ago) and been doing it around many clubs and stores in Chicago, Rochester NY, and here ever since. I have worked in both of the only tennis stores in Tampa Bay Area so there is good chance I have already strung your racquet!!!
Equipment:
The Tennismobile not unlike the Batmobile is a State of Art American made Ram Promaster van. Inside where all the magic of stringing is happening, I will be using another State of Art machine (for real this time) Wilson Baiardo Stringing Machine, same machine used by tour stingers at the US Open and French Open slams. Last but not least, my hands, fastest fingers in town, with ability to string a whole racquet in less than 10 minutes (depending on the frame), and average of 15 minutes. So I can be in and out of your driveway in less than an hour and string up 4 of your best friends, with perfect execution of course, as the best stringers say, speed
